FAIRsoft Indicators¶
FAIRsoft indicators assess the FAIRness of research software across the four FAIR dimensions: Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability.
They provide a practical way to measure software FAIRness from available metadata and support software evaluation and improvement.
→ Explore the indicator definitions in the FAIRsoft Indicators section.
Calculating FAIRsoft indicators¶
FAIRsoft indicators can be calculated in different ways depending on your workflow.
-
Interactive evaluation: compute FAIRsoft indicators for individual software tools through a graphical interface.
-
Programmatic evaluation: compute FAIRsoft indicators programmatically for one or several GtHub repositories or for your metadata.
Project evolution¶
FAIRsoft indicators are continuously being refined and expanded.
Community feedback and contributions play an important role in improving the indicator definitions and their implementation.
If you are interested in contributing to the project, please review the contribution guidelines.
